About Us
The Avoca String Quartet, based in Dublin, was founded in 2005 and performs at wedding ceremonies, receptions, corporate events and parties all across Ireland. They specialize in church music for weddings. The members of the group are all in their own rights accomplished musicians.

We had the Avoca String Quartet play at the ceremony and reception drinks at our wedding this year. I was delighted with everything from start to finish, a very professional service. The booking system was easy, the website was helpful in selecting music for different types of ceremonies and Michael was very prompt in replies to any queries. They also sourced a singer for us (Eileen Coyle) who complemented the quartet perfectly. The music on the day was excellent, I would highly recommend!

The avoca string quartet played at our wedding ceremony and drinks reception - the music was wonderful and added a very romantic feel to our ceremony. We had Avoca String Quartet play at our Wedding Ceremony and Reception recently at Clongowes Wood College and Rathsallagh Country House From start to finish Michael and the members of the Quartet were extremely helpful and accommodating in providing specially requested music.The compliments from so many of our guests relating to Avocas performances at both the ceremony and the reception proves that we made the correct decision in choosing Avoca String Quartet in helping us to have such an enjoyable day.
